Reschedule Insurance

1. What is Reschedule Insurance?
Reschedule Insurance is an optional add-on for our Heart Code classes that allows you to reschedule your class as many times as needed without any additional fees. This provides flexibility in case your plans change unexpectedly.

2. How much does Reschedule Insurance cost?
The Reschedule Insurance is available for only $30.

3. How do I add Reschedule Insurance to my order?
You can add Reschedule Insurance to your order during the checkout process. Simply select the option before completing your purchase.

4. Can I add Reschedule Insurance after I have registered for a class?
No, Reschedule Insurance must be purchased at the time of registration.

5. What classes are eligible for Reschedule Insurance?
Reschedule Insurance is available for all our Heart Code classes.

7. Is there a limit to how many times I can reschedule with Reschedule Insurance?
No, there is no limit to the number of times you can reschedule your class if you have purchased Reschedule Insurance.

8. What happens if I need to cancel my class?
If you need to cancel your class, please refer to our cancellation policy. Reschedule Insurance only covers the ability to reschedule and does not apply to cancellations.

9. Can I transfer my Reschedule Insurance to another person?
No, Reschedule Insurance is non-transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser.

Heart Code Complete

1. What is Heart Code Complete?
Heart Code Complete is a blended learning course that combines online learning with a hands-on skills session. Students complete part of the course online at their own pace and then attend a skills session to demonstrate their proficiency.

2. Is Heart Code Complete an American Heart Association (AHA) valid certification?
Yes, Heart Code Complete is an American Heart Association (AHA) certified course. Upon successful completion, students receive an AHA certification card.

3. Why does Heart Code Complete cost more?
Heart Code Complete may cost more due to the convenience and flexibility it offers. Students can complete the online portion at their own pace and schedule the hands-on session at a time that works best for them. This eliminates the need to attend a traditional in-person class that could take several hours.

4. How does Heart Code Complete save students money in the long run?
Heart Code Complete saves students money in the long run by minimizing time away from work. Traditional classes can take 4-10 hours, during which students might lose pay from work. With Heart Code Complete, students can complete the online portion during their free time and only need to attend a shorter hands-on session, thus reducing lost income.

5. How do I complete the online portion of Heart Code Complete?
Once you register for Heart Code Complete, you will be added to our RQI 1 Stop portal. You will receive an email with your login information and instructions on how to access the online course. Complete the online portion at your own pace before scheduling your hands-on session.

6. How do I complete the Part 2 skills session?
After completing the online portion, you will need to attend a hands-on skills session to demonstrate your proficiency at one of our locations. The skills session is designed to be brief and efficient, allowing you to demonstrate your skills and complete the course.

7. When and how do I get my completion card and continuing education units (CEUs)?
Upon successful completion of both the online portion and the hands-on skills session, you will receive your American Heart Association certification card. This card is typically issued immediately after the skills session. Additionally, you will be eligible for continuing education units (CEUs), which will be provided upon request. Please contact our customer service team for more details on how to obtain your CEUs.

9. What should I do if I have trouble passing the hands-on skills session?
The American Heart Association offers these RQI courses all across the United States and trains hundreds of thousands of medical and healthcare professionals every year. In rare situations, there could be some problems that arise, but we are here to help. Below are some possible reasons why there was an issue, followed by solutions on how to finish your course:

  • Reason: Nervousness or lack of practice.
  • Solution: Practice the required skills using the guidelines provided during the online portion. Consider scheduling additional practice sessions if necessary.
  • Reason: Misunderstanding of the requirements.
  • Solution: Review the course materials and guidelines thoroughly to ensure you understand the expectations. Contact our instructors for clarification if needed.
  • Reason: Injured or hurt student
  • Solution: The AHA does not accommodate injured students for the Herat Code class; student would need to register for an in-person skills session.

10. How do I enroll in Heart Code Complete?
To enroll in Heart Code Complete, visit our website, select the course, and follow the registration process. You will receive instructions on how to access the online portion and schedule your hands-on session.

11. Can I complete the Heart Code Complete course entirely online?
No, the Heart Code Complete course requires both online learning and a hands-on skills session. The online portion covers the theoretical part, while the hands-on session ensures you can perform the necessary skills.

12. How long do I have to complete the online portion before attending the hands-on session?
You typically have a certain period (e.g., 60 days) to complete the online portion and attend the hands-on session. Please check the specific course details for the exact timeframe.
